We created MendSoft because we know the disappointment an operations manager faces using something of an accounting system for a repair tracking system. He knows that large companies, most OEM’s, have a customized system for service and repair but such a package would be beyond his reach. Some brave souls over the years have attempted to build one. Some floundered; while some managed to get something running but most likely it must be getting outdated now because of changing technologies and the availability of ecommerce solutions.

Our founding objective was to raise the operational level of the smaller and mid-level organization by giving them a tool they could not develop themselves. What is out there with large manufacturers could now be made available to even the one-man shops out there.

Our vision is to bring the benefits of Internet into a reality for a specific type of business: service and repair company. If not the first, we are one of the first few to offer purely web-based service and repair system on the Internet. In many ways, by providing a configurable service and repair system, we became the pioneers who intend to lead the way solely for the benefit of service and repair companies.

We noticed that the ASP (Application Service Provider) model is the most suitable for our client base because it eliminates the upfront costs associated with owning a software which, if you read the licensing agreement, you really never own anyway.

Coupled with no upfront networking and data storage infrastructure, MendSoft can turn out to be cure of all headaches.
